Winter Hearth Herbal Tea (Recipe)

A warming, nourishing blend to sip slowly through the long nights of winter

Inspired by centuries of herbal traditions that used warming spices and calming herbs to support the body and spirit through the cold months, this blend brings together:

Ingredients:

1 part Calendula petals for gentle warmth and cheer
1 part Tulsi (holy basil) to calm and support clarity
1 part Rosemary for grounding and resilience
Ginger to taste for warmth and comfort

Fresh or Dried Citrus peel (orange or lemon) for a touch of light and freshness

Method:

  1. Combine the dried herbs in a jar and store in a cool, dry place.

  2. To brew one cup, use about 1 teaspoon of the blend in a strainer or infuser.

  3. Pour 8 oz (240 ml) of near‑boiling water over the herbs and add fresh ginger and citrus peel, steep 5–7 minutes.

  4. Strain, sip slowly, and allow the aroma and warmth to fill you.

Optional: Add a touch of honey for sweetness.
